We're a dedicated, supportive bunch of published and unpublished writers from Australia, UK and NZ who've been helping each other achieve our goals and cheering each other on as we reach certain milestones.
And this week and a bit has certainly been cause for celebration. Why?
Well, just check out this list of accomplishments...
- three BILD'ers are finalists in the Romance Writers of New Zealand Clendon Award
- another three made it into the Highly Commended/Commended lists for the Clendon Award
- three received publishing contracts this past year
- two are finalists in three different RWNZ First Impressions contests (some finalled twice!)
- two are finalists in the RWA Valerie Parv Award
- two are finalists in the RWA Emerald Award
- one BILD'er placed 3rd & 5th in the COFW RWA "Ignite the Flame" contest
- one finalled in HOD RWA"The Molly"
- one accepted an offer of representation from Jessica Faust from BookEnds LLC
