Change of Pace

Over the last year or so I've featured a number of guest authors from Australia, New Zealand and America, interviewed members from various romance writing organisations and various craft articles about writing/the writing industry/reading.

The regular posts have been on a Monday, Thursday and Saturday. With my writing schedule, I'm going to be cutting back to two posts as of the beginning of next month (November).

So, it's time for a change in content, but I'm curious to know what readers are looking for.

Do you like the Guest Author interviews? Is there a topic or issue you'd like more information on? If you're a reader or writer, is there something you'd like to see more of?

Leaving a comment will help me with planning future posts.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it.

  1. Hey Kylie!

Totally understand your need so slow things down to give yourself some time to write.
I'd simply like to see some more about you and your writing journey as it unfolds =)

  3. I've been wondering how you have been keeping up with all the posts. I totally think a change is in order. I'm with the others, anything about you and your books would be fab.
    Take care

  5. Ahh, Eleni, the secret to my posts is doing it a few months in advance. The interviews/guest authors are pretty self-explanatory - a Q&A, a bit of design when the info gets sent to you.

The craft posts take a bit more work but I tend to jot down the rough points of them in a notebook then spend a couple of days writing them.

Then I take another couple of days to post them all and set up the blog for a 3 months stint (the calls that go out on the e-loops are for the next few months ahead), so all I have to do along the way is the odd tweak or insert an interview here or there.

So an intensive 4-5 days getting that 3 months sorted then I have the time to write in between. And being the OCD organised person I am I make sure everything is well planned or I'd go nuts! LOL

  6. Hi Mel, Cath & Kez,

OK, so teasers of my books, more about them as they come up, the writing journey - check! Will jot those suggestions down.

Have to admit just considering putting the boot on the other foot - and revealing stuff about my own work - will be a weird change. I've been featuring others for so long, this will be a good challenge! LOL

Thanks, everyone for dropping in and commenting. I really appreciate it!
